We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the GDC NOC Operations, experience in Cloud products, including Nokia Cloud Platform (NCP), Nokia Cloud Operations Manager (NCOM), Netact/NSP/OSS Products on Fault Management, Configuration Management, and Problem Management for Enterprise Networks (Private Wireless LTE).  This role requires a blend of expertise in Multi-Domain Network Elements.

  • Resolution & providing technical support for the incidents reported/requested Cloud products, including Nokia Cloud Platform (NCP), Nokia Cloud Operations Manager (NCOM), OSS Products (Analysis, Troubleshooting & fixing the issues reported).
  • Manages technical escalations for technical requests, emergency cases, and outages internally and towards customers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders like GDC, Care, Field, 3rd PP & Customer to resolve the issues.
  • Participate in CAB/CR meetings. Preparing & Validating the MoPs and executing the CRs with 100% FTR.
  • Design, deploy, configure, and integrate cloud solutions independently, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage deployments and upgrades for existing customers, focusing on “right first time” execution and quick issue resolution.
  • Oversee New Product Introductions (NPI) for global rollouts, driving innovation and integrating cross-product solutions.
  • Provide maintenance support and operations, including defect analysis, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
  • Create and update comprehensive project documentation, including MOPs, reports, and incident RCAs.
  • Ensure robust configuration management by performing regular backups, optimizing backup routines, and maintaining accurate version control across hardware and software assets.
  • Deliver comprehensive reporting, including weekly management updates, utilization metrics, and enhanced inventory tracking, while improving internal lab tools for better efficiency.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 to 8+ years of telecom experience, with 5+ years in Cloud & OSS solutions.
  • Proven expertise in OCP Platform Administration and Kubernetes management.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automation technologies (e.g., Ansible, Helm). Good IP networking background and scripting capabilities (Shell, PERL, Python).
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration. L3 Certified Specialist on Open Shift & NCP, MantaRay.
  • Skilled in Linux administration across multiple distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu) and proficient in private cloud platforms such as OpenStack, VMware, Kubernetes, Nokia CBIS/NCS, RH OpenShift, NCP, and VMware Tanzu.
  • Proficient in scripting and automation using Linux shell, Python, and Perl for efficient operations and process optimization.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Strong background in  Networking , VNF, and CNF deployment readiness, onboarding support, and automation using tools like Terraform and Ansible.Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with ECS or EKS. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
