Contract

We are seeking an International Asset Manager to work broadly across the core pillars of the department and to contribute to project and systems work.  You will be working with the Global Head of Asset Management to collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners across our international network to support the development and implementation of RV-based equipment finance solutions, and with the Risk function to ensure robust monitoring of our asset risk.

The role of the Asset Management function is to responsibly and independently guide and set residual values for leased assets; and to manage, monitor and mitigate residual value risk through the life of the portfolio. The core pillars of the function are: Asset Valuation (at lease inception, in life and at end of term); Portfolio Management (lease extension and asset maximisation activities); End of Term Operations (asset inspection, recharge, logistics, data wiping, refurb, storage and general administration); Remarketing (third party asset sales); and Oversight and Control (reporting and analytics, policy and procedure, supplier management, cost control, and regulatory compliance).

We work to provide an expanded offering of finance products and solutions as required by our customers, including operating leases, rental products, fair market value leases, contract hire, managed equipment services, and aaS solutions, and to provide additional income and profit streams at End of Term.  The function contributes to the company’s ESG ambitions, with a focus on Circular Economy. The scope of the role covers all countries and industry sectors within which the business operates.

On a daily basis, your missions are to:

  • Support with the setting of residual value positions.
  • Support with creating and maintaining RV matrices, where relevant.
  • Support the maintenance of internal value curves.
  • Provide information, insights, valuations and remarketing strategies for assets.
  • Support with the functionality and governance of the internal asset management system.
  • Co-ordinate with internal colleagues across the country network on asset management requests, new business opportunities, portfolio management, remarketing support and data requests.
  • Support with compiling internal policy and procedure documentation.
  • Maintain a remarketing partner panel to cover all relevant asset types and geographies.
  • Maintain a comprehensive suite of relevant asset return condition documents.
  • General administration and tasks across the function, including support on specific projects and initiatives, when required.
