The New Jersey Department of Health has granted Family Healthy Initiatives (FHI) the opportunity to evaluate New Jersey’s Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV)-funded programs and improve their Level of Service (LOS). FHI is hiring a liaison, to support the planned evaluation and quality improvement efforts. The liaison will help assess workflows, client engagement, and staffing at Local Implementing Agencies (LIAs) responsible for delivering services and will support quality improvement projects associated with this grant.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for outreach and engagement with MIECHV program staff and families. Engage with families to better understand their experiences, needs, and barriers to service, using this to inform and strengthen LOS improvement efforts. Aid and support MIECHV staff in identifying, testing, and reviewing performance of improvement strategies throughout the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process. Coordinate and facilitate MIECHV staff training.
- Actively engage with MIECHV staff at the LIAs to coordinate the implementation and monitoring of quality improvement projects and encourage active participation in the evaluation program.
- Work closely with the FHI team and other liaisons to coordinate all initiatives related to the MIECHV LOS Evaluation.
- Collect qualitative data from MIECHV program staff and families for analysis. Assist the program data analyst in cleaning and coding of data. Maintain records of program activities, participation rates, feedback received, and any other relevant information, and reporting back to the FHI team.
- Ensure all communication and materials are approved by FHI before dissemination.
- Responsible for submitting work logs for payment.

Requirements
- Residency in South Jersey and familiarity with your local community and surrounding area. (Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Salem Counties)
- Associate's degree; preferably in public health, social work, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience with Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) methodologies, including a working knowledge of Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and facilitate training sessions for diverse audiences.
- Experience in facilitating group discussions or meetings.
- Familiarity with basic data collection and analysis, including interpreting trends and using data to inform practice or decision-making.
- Commitment to advancing the MIECHV services available to communities in New Jersey.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Forms, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Valid driver’s license, current insurance policy, and car.
