Position Description:

The University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD) is seeking to hire a Unit Human Resources Specialist III. The position performs a wide range of HR administrative functions including talent acquisition, consultation, data analytics, employee training and development and project management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide full cycle talent acquisition to meet hiring and onboarding processes for faculty and staff.
  • Provide HR support to faculty and staff.
  • Provide HR consultation and guidance to ULSD staff, faculty and leaders.
  • Analyze data trends and metrics and prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Research, monitor, and enforce policies to ensure compliance with applicable internal policies/procedures and legal requirements.
  • Hr Project Management.

  • Liaison with main campus HR to administer FMLA, workers compensation and benefits.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Facilitate training and development plans on a variety of human resources topics and maintain records of participation.
  • Participate in employee engagement planning and execution.
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.
  • Assist with payroll duties as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in human resources or related field and 4 years of experience.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification.

Demonstrates effective use of listening and questioning skills and displays openness to other people's ideas and thoughts.

Target Compensation Maximum:

$79,540.00

Target Compensation Minimum:

$52,993.00

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
