Description

Texas Biomed is searching for a Receiving and Distribution Clerk to join our team. This position will handle delivery of mail, supplies and equipment and will coordinate internal distribution, ensure accurate accounting for materials received, and expeditious delivery  throughout the campus. 

The Role:

  • Arranges for shipment of supplies or materials by motor or air freight. Packages and labels materials and completes bill of lading.
  • Supports inventory management function for Stockroom supplies and materials.
  • Maintains log book of specialized chemical inventory and is responsible for receipt, delivery, storage and accountability of compressed gas cylinders.
  • Arranges for the return of goods due to damage, over shipments or other errors noted as a result of shipping.
  • Assists end users with questions related to shipping/receiving of critical supplies and material.
  • Daily pick up, sorting and distribution of mail/deliveries to all areas of Texas Biomed campus.
  • Receives/rejects, inspects and verifies correctness of supplies and materials delivered to Texas Biomed.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in shipping and receiving, distribution or warehouse operations
  • Must have a valid Texas license and meet Texas Biomed’s driving standards
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • Must be able to pass an FBI background check
