What you will be doing in this role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Systems Administrator to oversee the effective management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of organisational quality and safety systems. The primary focus will be on the RiskMan incident reporting system, audit program coordination, MARS (Management and Reporting System), and the collection and analysis of safety and quality data.
As the Risk Management Systems super user, you will take ownership of the administration, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of these systems. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring users are properly set up, supported, and encouraged to use the system effectively.
You will identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with internal managers and Information Services to ensure optimal system configuration. You will consistently monitor data integrity, perform audits, and generate dashboards and reports to aid in decision-making, risk management, and ensure the ongoing improvement and widespread adoption
Who we’re looking for
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will bring:
- A strong understanding of quality assurance and improvement processes through previous experience in a similar role in an acute healthcare setting.
- Prior experience in data administration in complex environments and the ability to demonstrate proactive problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with technology systems and software, including Risk Management Systems (ideally RiskMan) and report configuration.
- Knowledge of privacy, confidentiality, and compliance standards.
- Experience with HTML, SQL, Crystal Reports, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other similar software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support and engage.
- Familiarity with Risk Management ISO 31000, OHS regulations, and NSQHS Standards (desirable).
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or system administration (desirable).
