Commercial Manager

Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Technology team and help shape the way we manage suppliers and contracts across the business. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and business owners to develop and implement portfolio-wide contract and supplier management strategies—this includes forecast planning, contract negotiations, and regular reviews. Your role will be key in ensuring our commercial practices support long-term business goals and deliver real value.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead commercial negotiations for new vendor engagements and manage renewals across a diverse supplier portfolio.
• Act as the commercial contracting SME for projects and tenders, ensuring governance and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Partner with business owners to understand future demand, long-term strategy, and ensure commercial practices are embedded before sourcing begins.
• Support new initiatives by conducting market research and vendor due diligence to inform business cases and strategic decisions.
• Monitor industry trends, vendor performance, and pricing fluctuations to guide renewal planning and maintain commercial resilience.

• Deep understanding of market dynamics and business drivers in complex environments.
• Experience partnering with Technology/ IT teams would be advantageous
