Description

SUMMARY: Responsible for developing/building and maintaining relationships with Key Customers and Managers in designated chains. Planning and Executing Promotion and Pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability for Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Develop and provide strategic leadership/input to staff.
  • Build, develop and maintain customer relationships with key accounts. Maintain positive customer contacts. 
  • Develop/maximize opportunities with new and existing customers. 
  • Resolve customer concerns and issues. 
  • Build and execute sales forecasting and ensure proper execution of pricing, promotional programs and Customer Marketing Agreements. 
  • Develop and implement sales incentive programs. 
  • Execute local and national creative marketing promotions. 
  • Obtain authorization from customers to sell and deliver product and/or equipment. 
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations. 
  • Communicate market conditions with internal sales group. 
  • Assist with monitoring and evaluating brand performance. 
  • Track and report performance compared to Key Business Indicators. 
  • Ensure that Company management principles, policies, and programs are consistently practiced. 
  • Be a team player, with the ability to work across boundaries with all levels of the organization. 
  • Analyze Company operations to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiencies, cost reduction, and enhanced company earnings and growth. 
  • Demonstrate planning, project management, and organizational abilities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead, manage, and supervise subordinate staff. Maintain direction and compliance with Company’s policies and applicable regulations/laws.

COMPETENCIES: Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, with demonstrated management, marketing, and organizational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, with five (5) years related work experience in marketing. Good administrative skills along with well-developed management principles/marketing skills.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read. Ability to respond to common inquiries. 
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to compute rate, ratio, and percentage, with the ability to develop and interpret graphs used for presentations or reports. Strong analytical and reasoning ability.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions supplied in both written and verbal format. Ability to define problems/issues and react/resolve them quickly.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Class E driver’s license
  • Other Skills and Abilities: None.
  • Other Qualifications: Valid driver’s license, current liability insurance, and driving record within company MVR policy guidelines.  

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Daily.
