The Role

In this role, you’ll be hands-on managing the day-to-day operations of the Athletic, Archery and Satellite Sports Centres, making sure events and programmes run smoothly and safely. You’ll coordinate systems and procedures to keep everything up to world-class standards, work closely with sporting bodies, schools, sponsors and the community, and lead a team to deliver great customer service and memorable experiences.

You’ll be maximise opportunities in a diverse, multi-use facility, maintain equipment and venue presentation to the highest level, and manage risk in a busy sporting environment. Success means balancing sustainable practices, stakeholder relationships, and operational excellence, all while promoting Sydney Olympic Park as a premier destination for sport and recreation

What you will bring to the role

What Is An Essential Requirement:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in sports or venue management and/or extensive experience in venue operations
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • First Aid certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • A Working with Children Check is an essential requirement for this role. The role has been identified as requiring a check in keeping with the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012.
