Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 full-time equivalent plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service. 

Employment Status: Full-time

About The Role

The Italian and Spanish Teacher inspire students to develop a deep appreciation for language and culture. In this role, the teacher delivers curriculum-aligned lessons that explore cultural perspectives while immersing students in the richness of both Italian and Spanish. They design and implement activities such as the study of diverse texts, interactive discussions, and the use of digital tools to create engaging learning environments that foster student growth. This position provide regular assessments and constructive feedback to help students recognise their strengths and identify areas for improvement, while maintaining accurate records to track progress. They collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching strategies that align with school goals and communicate openly with families to support student success. The role also includes opportunities for ongoing professional development and accreditation, ensuring teachers remain at the forefront of language education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration 
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
