Full Time Faculty - Legal Studies
South College is seeking a dedicated and dynamic full-time faculty member in Legal Studies to join our growing team at the Knoxville campus. This role offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of legal professionals while contributing to an institution committed to innovation, academic excellence, and student success.

Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate courses in Legal Studies and Paralegal Studies.
- Engage in curriculum development, course revisions, and textbook selection to ensure relevant, high-quality instruction.
- Support and mentor students, including guidance in career preparation and academic success.
- Assist with student internship placement and supervision.
- Participate in departmental initiatives, accreditation activities, and service to the institution.
Requirements
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) required.
- Active law license strongly preferred.
Experience
- Previous teaching experience in higher education preferred.
- Experience with online teaching and the Canvas learning management systems desirable.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, mentorship, and student development.
