General Information

The Central Purchasing department is responsible for the strategtic development of the complete supplier portfolio at Vitesco Technologies. We negotiate prices, purchase quantities, contracts, etc. Our purchasing portfolio includes different types of passive components, such as capacitors, resistors and coils. Our target is to forsee and respond to challenges and changes on the market and always remain competitivitiy in the field of passive components and E-Mobility.

This position is available from February 1 or March 1, 2026 for a duration of six months.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Supporting projects in Purchasing
• Supporting the sourcing process for new business (inquiries, offers, decision template)
• Participating in communication with suppliers and internal decision making
• Contract and data management
• Organizing and participating in supplier meetings
• Data analysis and preparation of various templates and files

Your Profile

• Studies in the field of business informatics, industrial engineering, economics or a comparable field of study
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Business English
• Proficiency in MS Office programs, especially Excel
• Knowledge of Power BI, Knime and databases is perferred
• Great problem solving and analytical thinking skills
• Effective communication skills
• Strong teamplayer
• Proactive and eager to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced enviroment with constant new challenges
