Overview:

The Lead M&A Execution role is responsible for leading the financial planning, execution, and integration or segregation of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investment opportunities. This role serves as the central point of coordination for all M&A activities within the Finance division, including tax, accounting, treasury, and corporate finance, and works closely with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Strategy, and Operations.

The individual will provide financial advisory and strategic support across the full transaction lifecycle — from initial evaluation and deal structuring to due diligence, execution, and post-deal integration. The role demands strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including strategic assessments, valuation, structuring, and integration.
• Develop and review financial models (DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution, merger modeling) to assess transaction impact.
• Conduct and oversee financial, operational, tax, and legal due diligence.
• Evaluate risks and opportunities, translating findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Drive synergy identification and tracking post-acquisition.
• Prepare and present investment memoranda, board presentations, and executive summaries.
• Manage internal coordination across Finance, Legal, Strategy, and Operations.
• Liaise with external advisors including investment banks, consultants, and legal counsel.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal governance protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA, CFA, or CA/ACCA preferred).
• 10–12 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or strategy consulting.
• Proven track record of executing complex M&A transactions.
• Deep understanding of valuation methodologies, deal structuring, and integration planning.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
• Experience in telecom, digital, or tech sectors is a plus.
