E-Commerce & digital content specialist

A to Z Wineworks, LLC is hiring an E-Commerce & Digital Content Specialist to represent our Oregon brands of A to Z Wineworks, Erath, and REX HILL. We are looking for an individual who is a results-driven marketer that can effectively execute digital and social media strategies. This role is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing digital content in support of our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) sales targets and National brand goals, through social media channels, email, and event marketing.

Our ideal candidate is creative, curious and a critical thinker who is comfortable taking initiative, adept at collaborating with people in a variety of roles and attuned to what makes engaging brand-first digital content and campaigns. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating memorable brand messages and can apply strong organizational skills and analytical thinking to deliver those messages to the right audience through effective media strategy.

Success will be measured through campaigns and owned media channels that build brand awareness, drive sales and commercial success, reflecting consistent brand standards, messages, and designs. The E-Comm & Digital Content Specialist will serve as a wine and brand expert for our three brands, with the ability to tailor communication and materials to a wide variety of audiences with consistency, accuracy, and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

Direct to Consumer Digital Growth and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with DTC Brand Specialist to deliver optimized and effective digital support for objectives.
  • Develop and schedule organic and paid social posts in support of DTC growth channels, including monitoring and responding to questions and comments.
  • Support influencer identification, outreach, and content coordination in alignment with DTC campaign goals as well as analyze performance metrics and optimize for deliverability and ROI.
  • Build and deploy email campaigns, including newsletters, promotions, and automated flows.
  • E-Commerce/DTC Website Support including assisting with management of products, events, merchandising, and promotional updates across brand websites and Commerce7.
  • Write and edit copy for emails, product pages, social posts, and other digital channels as needed.
  • Collaborate with design and brand teams to ensure content is visually compelling and on-brand.
  • Maintain digital asset library with photos, videos, and additional digital assets.
  • Serve as marketing liaison for event materials/marketing support.

National Commercial Sales – Digital Media Support

  • Develop and schedule organic social media in support of national programming for A to Z and Erath.
  • Contribute to photo and video asset creation for digital channels.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Digital Marketing Manager on paid advertising programs both directly and in conjunction with external media agency. This includes programmatic, paid social, search, and influencer marketing.

Reporting

  • Produce and distribute internal company newsletters.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to make recommendations on changes or augmentations to digital programs.
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with digital marketing-related regulatory requirements including privacy and data collection, accessibility, alcohol advertising, and email and influencer marketing.

Other duties and special projects as required, and at the discretion of the Company.

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years’ prior experience in a digital marketing role which may include:
  • Wine/beer/spirits industry experience a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communicator with strong copywriting skill.
  • Experience developing visual assets (photo/video) for digital campaigns, and in coordination with external resources.
  • Technical/Systems Experience:
  • Creating and coordinating digital strategies, editorial calendars, and content development for hospitality and consumer goods brands.
  • Managing organic and paid social, email marketing and/or search campaigns as part of a direct-to-consumer advertising strategy
  • Successfully managing projects from initial conception to completion
  • Proficiency with Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with design tools (in the Adobe Creative Suite) like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems and email marketing services (Commerce 7, Klaviyo, and WordPress a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to operate computer and digital equipment including cameras for extended periods of time in a variety of settings, including industrial and outdoors.
  • Requires regular on-site work at the primary winery location in Newberg, Oregon.
  • You must be able to sit at a computer for an extended period, and be able to lift, move and carry up to 45 pounds.
  • This is an active position with 4 days a week onsite at the winery with the remaining work to be performed remotely.
  • There will be occasional pre-arranged night and weekend responsibilities to support events.

Your Compensation:

$68,000 - $74,000 per year
