Senior Software Engineer - Platform (Universal Robots, India)

The Software Platform Team is now seeking a Senior Developer with a strong background in operating systems, low-level infrastructure, containerization, and distributed systems. The team is responsible for the platform components that enable product development across the organization.

Opportunity Overview

• Design and maintain the software platform with a strong focus on built-in quality
• Translating business needs into technical solutions
• Collaborate with product teams on architecture, interdependencies, and priorities

• Design and implement complex features and components

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Proven track record of delivering software for embedded systems based on Linux
• Proven experience writing production code in a setting with many developers
• Deep expertise in operating systems, networking, and embedded Linux
• Strong programming skills, preferably in C, C++, or Go
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Bonus Points For

• Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field
• Experience working with agile software development
