Pricing Excellence Project Manager (m/f/d) at Allianz SE

Who will you join?

Global P&C Pricing team contributes to driving Technical Excellence in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance and to improving the Group Insurance service result focusing on data & analytics and pricing analytics. We steer our global entities' Technical Price System and check the application of Allianz Best Practices. We collaborate with our global entities on project execution, e.g., through improvement of risk understanding, retention and conversion management, performance management and automation of the pricing process. This also includes R&D on these topics and supporting tools. We design and deliver P&C Academy courses with attendees from all over the world.
 
We are looking for a Project Manager to support the entire team, especially in the interactions with operating entities (OEs). The role holder will collaborate closely with the whole Global P&C Pricing team and its management team to drive communication, and strategy needs and interact with management of both Allianz Group Centers and Allianz operating entities.        

How can you make an impact?

You Will Be:

• Supporting implementation of priorities and deliverables to ensure the Pricing team is properly organized and equipped to deliver results on time
• Working collaboratively with OEs, internal teams and external partners as the person responsible for strategic tasks concerning the Pricing function and related topics
• Leading and managing strategic projects involving the team for implementation
• Synchronizing activities within the department and ensuring a coordinated, aligned and efficient approach
• Creating effective communications related to pricing strategy and connected topics for Senior Management
• Supporting and running pricing community meetings and workshops (e.g. Heads of Pricing Meeting, Pricing Expert Community, TEX PMO Community and Global P&C Stand-up)    

What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications

• You hold an excellent Master’s degree in Business Administration with a strong focus on quantitative and analytical skills, or in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics, Physics or an equivalent field
• You have a solid understanding of actuarial topics and the P&C insurance, prior experience in P&C pricing is a plus 
• You have excellent communication and intercultural skills to work in an international environment on a daily basis 
• You have a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels and functions in the organization and to manage multiple objectives, deadlines and conflicting priorities 
• You have strong analytical skills and are a team player
• Outstanding working knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent in English is required, additional languages are a plus
• Ability and willingness to travel, international experience (academic or work-related) is a plus        

Preferred Qualifications

• A passion for identifying, structuring and solving strategic opportunities, translating these into actionable recommendations and supporting and steering the implementation
• Entrepreneurial, problem-solving and collaborative approach as well as curiosity and drive to think outside of the box in a transitioning industry
• Experience in leading projects and small, agile cross-functional project teams
• Previous experience in business related functions (i.e., Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Reserving, Risk Management, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.)    
• Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
• Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
