Essential Job Functions

  • Develop new, leading edge logistics applications.
  • Define our development standards and architecture
  • Direct a strategy for delivering custom application and integration solutions to the business.
  • Maintains a strategic plan for software development based on departmental and company-wide goals.
  • Participate in daily stand-up, weekly iteration planning and other as-needed face-to- face, audio- and/or video-teleconferencing sessions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, design decisions and provide input in to all aspects of the system
  • Works closely with PO and business stakeholders to prioritize work.
  • Write unit tests, integration tests, and acceptance tests.
  • Implement new features and fix bugs in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other technologies for our greenfield applications.
  • Other duties as assigned

Other Skills & Abilities

  • Strong web UI development skills.
  • ASP.NET MVC, C#
  • Strong source code repository knowledge as well as branching strategies.
  • Agile
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • HTML5, CSS3
  • Test Driven Development
  • Angular/React

Physical Requirements

  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years application development experience.

Certifications And Licenses

  • Professional certification may be required in some areas
