Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in reliability growth and troubleshooting to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring maximum train availability and supporting technical activities during commissioning, validation, and certification runs. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the project team and services team), partner with external stakeholders like maintenance teams and train drivers, and contribute to reliability growth through investigations, data collection, and field modifications.

You’ll specifically take care of train configuration control and documentation management, but also ensure compliance with EHS rules and work-related processes.

We’Ll Look To You For:

  • Providing technical support for reliability growth through investigations and data collection
  • Supporting troubleshooting activities to ensure maximum train availability
  • Contributing to field modifications and their implementation
  • Populating relevant failure databases (e.g., FRACAS, RailSys Light)
  • Ensuring train configuration control and documentation management
  • Guaranteeing effective information flow within the depot and project team
  • Adhering to EHS rules and work-related processes

All About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Associate degree in a technical major (preferred) or graduation from an engineering school
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical fields, either mechanical or electrical/electronics
  • General railway and product knowledge
  • Understanding of railway safety and RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability)
  • Familiarity with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong technical data management skills
  • Experience using relevant information systems (e.g., FRACAS, RailSys Light)
  • Capacity to provide support for field modifications

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
  • Contribute to innovative projects
  • Utilise our inclusive and adaptable working environment
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning
  • Progress towards roles such as Depot Manager or Technical Lead
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
