Your Future Role

Take on a new challenge and apply your financial and operational management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.

You'll play a critical role in supporting the financial oversight of our R&D activities, ensuring innovation affordability, and driving standardization across reporting and controlling processes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across finance, engineering, and R&D management, contribute to Earned Value Management (EVM) enablement, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll specifically take care of consolidating and analyzing financial data, streamlining reporting processes, and overseeing R&D controlling for various projects, but also support the evolution of work-package and program-level controlling.

We’Ll Look To You For:

  • Driving the rationalization of analytical structures by activity and coordinating Product End-of-Life (EoL) funding processes.
  • Enabling EVM through the development of project-specific Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) mapped to R&D programs.
  • Leading monthly SFTR and Rolling Forecast (RoFo) processes, including consolidation, financial review, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Performing detailed financial analysis on HCC/BCC, cost nature, and other indicators.
  • Managing and stabilizing Business Intelligence (BI) tools to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Coordinating budget and F1 consolidation activities, ensuring alignment with actuals and R&D data.

All About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • MBA in Finance, CA, or CMA qualification (CA Inter or CMA Inter with relevant experience is also considered).
  • 5–8 years of relevant finance experience, ideally in manufacturing or R&D environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IFRS 15 principles.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience with project controlling or multi-site financial flows.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (fluency in French or other languages is a plus).

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines.
  • Work with cutting-edge financial tools and processes for R&D management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and supportive colleagues.
  • Contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of mobility.
  • Utilise our inclusive and dynamic working environment.
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.
  • Benefit from our investment in your development through award-winning learning programs.
  • Progress towards leadership roles in financial controlling or R&D program management.
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension).
