Could you be the full-time Product Introduction (PI) Field Engineer in [LOCATION] we’re looking for?

Your Future Role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and solutions-oriented teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the successful introduction of Alstom products into service, driving technical excellence and customer satisfaction. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Reliability Availability Maintainability Safety (RAMS) teams, Quality teams, and Project Engineering teams), provide technical guidance to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of diagnosing and resolving operational equipment malfunctions, as well as supporting technical reviews and field modifications, but also contribute to reliability growth through failure investigations and preventative solutions.

We’Ll Look To You For:

  • Supporting technical activities during the Product Introduction (PI) period, including Commissioning and Warranty phases
  • Diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions while recommending preventative and corrective actions
  • Providing technical guidance and supporting technicians in troubleshooting and repairs
  • Driving containment actions and solutions to avoid reoccurrence of failures
  • Ensuring completeness and quality of input into failure management databases for RAMS exploitation
  • Facilitating information flow within PI teams, project teams, and external stakeholders

  • Graduate degree in Engineering or Industrial fields (Master’s degree is a plus)
  • Experience in mechanical or electrical/electronic engineering
  • Knowledge of railway safety and RAM principles
  • Familiarity with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) requirements
  • Proficiency in English (additional languages are beneficial)
  • Problem-solving skills and data analytics expertise
  • Experience in customer-facing roles or field operations is a plus
