Job Description

▶ As a project manager with a focus on projects in the warehouse environment, you supervise the implementation of tender projects, process analyses and improvement projects on the shop floor, as well as the implementation of warehouse projects (new construction, relocation, ramp-down) in cooperation with our internal customers, local operator organization, logistics service provider and central purchasing.

▶ They develop delta analyses and derive measures to increase productivity in warehouse operations. In addition, you can tap into potential savings, for example in tendering and renewing contracts for logistics services.

▶ Your success also includes a close and trusting cooperation with the internal interfaces such as purchasing, the operator organization or the central logistics department, which you also support, for example, in contract negotiations and contracts.

▶ As the digital transformation in the supply chain continues to advance, you will have an affinity for digitalization and innovation, to improve our internal processes and systems in order to generate competitive advantages.

▶ As part of the "Process Excellence" team, you will also work on the further development and standardization of our processes and documents.

▶ You will use your in-depth knowledge to conduct coaching sessions in our EMEA organization.

Qualifications

Education:

▶ completed studies in business administration or industrial engineering with a specialization in logistics or a comparable degree.

Personality And Working Methods:

▶ Committed, resilient, strong in communication at all management levels and a high willingness to travel are your distinguishing features.

▶ You feel comfortable in the team and are happy to act as such.

▶ Strong ability to think conceptually and analytically, to work solution/process-oriented and to present results characterize you.

Experience And Know-How:

▶ Several years of professional experience in the management of warehouse projects.

▶ SAP EWM knowledge OR comparable solution preferred

▶ Profound knowledge of the implementation of material flow and process analysis and experience in the optimization of logistics processes in operational operations.

▶ Knowledge of information flows in the logistics environment, especially warehouse logistics, SAP, Warehouse Management Systems and experience in the management of x-functional teams.

Languages:

▶ Business fluent English and desirable written and spoken German
