As a Project Coordinator, you’ll be the engine that keeps our projects moving. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and trade partners to ensure seamless coordination and execution. This isn’t a 9–5 desk job—it’s a dynamic role where you’ll be in the thick of the action, learning, growing, and making an impact every day.

What You'Ll Do

  • Coordinate project documentation: meeting minutes, change orders, site instructions, owner’s instructions, shop drawings, drawing logs, and draft progress claims.
  • Support sustainability requirements: LEED, waste management, erosion and sediment control, and materials testing.
  • Set up and maintain project reporting procedures: cost reports, project status reports, and document control systems.
  • Maintain accurate logs (RFIs, vendor/subcontractor, purchase orders, owner directives) and track responses.
  • Assist in managing trade contractor meetings, RFIs, invoices, and document control.
  • Handle project administration: payroll, timekeeping, labour/equipment coding, purchase orders, and safety reporting.
  • Review construction plans for compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator in construction.
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (BCIT, UBC, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of construction trades, safety, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe/Bluebeam Revu.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and field drawings.
  • Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal workplace compliance regulations.
  • A collaborative, confident communicator who thrives in a team-focused environment.
  • A self-starter with the drive to go above and beyond—this role is for builders who want to grow into leaders.
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
