Job Description
This role is centered around providing advanced systems analysis, design, development, and ongoing support for application software. As a Business Analyst, you’ll be instrumental in bridging business needs with technical solutions, ensuring that both BAU processes and new initiatives are supported effectively.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders to manage requests, resolve issues, and guide enhancements across software platforms. Your responsibilities include analyzing existing processes and applications, identifying business rules and constraints, and recommending improvements through root cause analysis and problem-solving.
You’ll collaborate with Product Owners, Development Managers, SMEs, developers, and testers to refine features, create user stories, and ensure traceability throughout the development lifecycle. This includes facilitating workshops, conducting requirements walkthroughs, coordinating multi-system solutions, and supporting testing across Dev, SYS, and UAT environments.
The role demands agility in managing multiple initiatives, navigating legacy systems with complex dependencies, and contributing to transformation programs. Your ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and maintain clarity in rapidly changing priorities will be key to success.
Qualifications
- Experience/competent understanding of Life Insurance
- Insurance and/or Finance experience is preferred
- Experienced in Agile delivery
- 3+ years’ experience as a business analyst
- Proficient in writing User Stories
- Strong experience in product development using an Agile approach
- Experience with legacy systems
