Job Description

The Manager of AMI Curricula is responsible for assisting in the development of curricula across Allergan Medical Institute educational programs. Main responsibilities include collaboration with key stakeholders (AMI Programs team, AMI Digital Team, Design & Development Team, etc) to develop content to achieve our educational objectives across the HCP learning journey.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned.):

  • Support the development of AMI digital curricula and field materials
  • Execute overhaul and development of enduring educational content on AMI Online
  • Support in Project Management workstreams to triage between internal creative team and crossfunctional stakeholders
  • Maintain an enduring claims matrix of approved KOL insights as it relates to injection training
  • Manage the library of active AMIO content, expiring or rereviewing jobs as necessary
  • When necessary, supporting with job submission through Veeva or offline review
  • Providing guidance and instruction to agency partners and content designers to ensure content adheres to creative and curricula briefs, brand guidelines, and MLRC review guidelines
  • Collaborating with other departments including Marketing, Sales and Research and Development to identify educational opportunities and deficiencies
  • Management of our Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance review systems and processes, ensuring timely and quality product
  • Project management through the development of new curricula and handoff to Programs team for execution
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

This position is Headquarter based in Irvine, CA

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years related experience is preferred.
  • 1-2 years in a Medical Education role is favorable.
  • Experience with Project Management software (i.e. Workfront, Confluence, etc)
  • Experience with Veeva
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Knowledge of FDA and regulatory statutes as applied to Allergan Aesthetics products, with the ability to function in an environment controlled by outside regulatory entities.
  • Knowledge of procedure training, consultation, business-to business (B2B) and selling skills are desired.
  • High degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Occasional flexibility in work hours, including weekends, may be required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 10%. Evenings, overnight, weekends, domestic is required.
  • Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with FDA’s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO13485, the Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and all other international regulatory requirements with which Allergan Aesthetics complies.

Language And Verbal Skills:

Individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Analytical And Reading Skills:

Ability to read, understand and abide by company procedures. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and report on findings.
