The Role

Join the team driving the future of Pure Storage's most advanced platform, FlashBlade//EXA, by shaping the internal tools that accelerate our success. As a Business Operations Manager (IC/4), you will own the roadmap and strategic vision for critical internal product enablement tools, ensuring they meet the speed and scale demands of modern AI and HPC infrastructure. What You'Ll Do

  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end execution of complex tool development initiatives, exercising judgment in selecting the appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality results.
  • Act as the primary business-side product owner, collecting requirements from key internal stakeholders (Engineering, Sales, Operations) and translating them into clear, actionable development priorities that maximize user adoption and operational efficiency.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies across multiple technical and business teams, implementing strategic mitigation plans to prevent critical delays and assure adherence to established budgets and schedules.
  • Develop and present regular, insightful status reports and executive updates to senior management, effectively communicating progress, challenges, and the organizational impact of the internal tools strategy.

What You Bring

  • Deep analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex, variable factors and propose creative, effective solutions that resolve issues in the program's operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and drive strategic operational objectives for projects, coupled with the tactical skills to delegate assignments and coordinate activities across diverse teams (e.g., Team Lead experience).
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills, capable of interacting regularly with senior management and executive levels to change thinking, gain acceptance, and influence strategic priorities without damaging relationships.
  • Expert knowledge of the software product development lifecycle and experience applying program management concepts to deliver technology solutions that significantly impact organizational objectives.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
