In this high-impact role, you will lead the development and commercialisation of a strategic, rolling three-year innovation pipeline across our brand portfolio in all APAC markets including Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and emerging markets. 

You will also take ownership of our newly acquired brand, Kooee! Australia’s leading clean-label, ‘better-for-you’ meat snacks brand driving its growth and integration. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong capability in activating innovation through the full marketing funnel, from strategic communications to market launch and sustained brand support.

Job Description

What You’Ll Do:

Innovation Strategy Development

• Design and execute a rolling 3-year innovation strategy aligned with brand and business priorities.
• Identify growth drivers, consumer trends, and competitive insights to unlock new opportunities.
• Prioritise initiatives and influence scope and timing based on strategic fit, market potential, and business impact.

 Innovation Development & Commercialisation

• Partner with Supply Chain and R&D to ensure feasibility, scalability, and timely delivery of new products.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and manage innovation timelines and resources.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and support Sales with customer engagement and performance tracking.

Innovation Governance & Resource Management

• Lead fortnightly innovation decision meetings to review pipelines and allocate resources.
• Align human and financial resources to strategic objectives and manage competing priorities.
• Chair the fortnightly Innovation Taskforce, guiding projects from scope to production leading milestones delivery with key stakeholders.

Brand Management – Kooee! (‘Better For You’ Portfolio)

• Own and execute the brand strategy and communications plan for Kooee! across APAC.
• Manage agency relationships and lead development of trade, shopper, and marketing assets.
• Drive brand presence through social media, events, influencer engagement, and customer presentations.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing
• 8+ years of experience in product innovation, category management, or strategic marketing within the FMCG industry.
• Proven experience developing and executing innovation strategies that drive category growth and deliver consumer-centric products.
• Strong understanding of category strategy and category growth drivers, with the ability to translate insights into actionable innovation
• Foster strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business, aligning innovation efforts with operational capabilities and commercial objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, driving collaboration between Supply Chain, Marketing, R&D, and Customer teams.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver on time and on budget.
• Strong commercial acumen and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders across the business.
