Job Description

Job Description/Daily Tasks:

This position will work at the adhesives manufacturing plant to clean, paint, organize, and perform industrial housekeeping tasks, both inside the manufacturing building and outside.  Strict adherence to PPE and safety policies will be critical.  Recognition and escalation of unsafe conditions or other problems is a must.  A mentality of prioritizing doing the job right with excellence over doing it fast is desired. 

Cleaning activities will include

• Shoveling, lifting, using a pneumatic floor scraper or pressure washer to clean up adhesive spill residue.  
• Candidates must be able to bend down, and reach overhead to perform some of the painting tasks.    

Avery cannot promise full time employment but would recommend that they approach this as an opportunity for potential positions in the future.   Manufacturing experience preferred, industrial cleaning experience a plus.

• Schedule: M-F 8:00AM - 4:30PM   
• 30 min unpaid lunch 
• 40hrs/week Temporary Assignment through December 2025

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Able to work independently or with a team
