Job Description
Primary Function of Position
The da Vinci® Key Customer Manager plays a critical role in building and developing the installed base of da Vinci® Surgical Systems within key account represented facilities in the United States. The major responsibilities are to manage and direct the corporate level sales of da Vinci® Surgical Systems and to grow the utilization through increased procedures. This will be accomplished through a variety of activities including corporate level relationships, hospital/account specific activities and direct interaction with ISI da Vinci® Sales Managers.

- Provide single point of contact for all Investor Owned, GPO and IDN groups
- Negotiates group contracts and sales
- Provides clients with product information, demonstrations, etc.
- Responsible for both maintaining and growing business in contracted groups
- Manage expenses within budget
- Manage the development and implementation of national sales campaign
- Manage key surgeons/customer relationships
- Active involvement in weekly and quarterly sales planning process
- Extensive travel
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience (Specific skills, knowledge, and experience that an individual must possess in order to successfully perform in job)
- 2-4 years of experience in Capital medical equipment sales
- Medical sales experience
Required Education and Training (As applicable - Specific education and training that an individual must possess in order to successfully perform in job)
- Bachelor's degree required
Working Conditions (As applicable - Any physical requirements for the job. If not applicable, state “none”)
- None
Preferred Skills and Experience (As applicable - Specific skills, knowledge, and experience that are not required to perform the job, but are desirable to have)
- Knowledge of the major national healthcare groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
- National Account experience
- Sales management experience
