Graduate Economist to join Implement Economics

Are you graduating with a master’s degree in economics in summer 2026 and eager to apply your skills to real-world challenges? At Implement Economics, we’re looking for a talented graduate with a sharp analytical mind and positive energy to join our team full-time from summer 2026.

What You’Ll Do

As a consultant at Implement Economics, you’ll contribute to projects at the intersection of economics, policy, and business strategy. If you want to deepen your toolbox and help organisations and public authorities make better decisions, this role is for you.

Among Other Things, You Will:

• Translate complex questions into clear analyses and actionable recommendations for clients in both the public and private sectors.
• Build and structure analyses, from data collection and Excel modelling to programming.
• Apply micro- and macroeconomic, industrial economics, financial, and econometric tools to real-world problems.
• Explore themes such as international trade and globalisation, competition and regulation, the socioeconomic impact of policy, digital platforms, and the green transition.
• Take ownership of defined tracks on client projects while also contributing to proposals, internal research, and thought leadership.  

In this role, you’ll join a close-knit team of 23 economists working at the frontier of economic analysis and strategic advice, based in Copenhagen (Hellerup/Borgergade). We combine academic rigour with practical influence, advising governments, regulators, and companies on some of Europe’s most pressing challenges.

What You’Ll Bring

We’re looking for people graduating with a master’s degree in economics in summer 2026, with strong academic results and a passion for applying economics to solve complex problems. We hire for potential as well as experience.

• Strong analytical skills and high standards for quality
• Clear, decision-oriented communication skills: you structure complex problems and translate analysis into practical choices for decision-makers
• Ability to understand and assess how societal and regulatory changes affect businesses, consumers, and public authorities
• A collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset: empathetic, proactive, and engaged when working with colleagues and clients
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; a Nordic language is a plus
