Nexamp is seeking a strategic, data-driven Sr. Associate, CRM & Email Marketing to join our growing CRM and Lifecycle team. This role will focus on owning and evolving our cross-channel engagement programs—email, SMS, and direct mail—with a strong emphasis on campaign strategy, journey orchestration, personalization, and performance optimization.

As a key member of the team, you’ll develop data-informed strategies to improve engagement, education, and retention across the customer lifecycle. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design thoughtful customer journeys and support long-term revenue growth through smart segmentation, testing, and lifecycle-driven communication.

You will be hybrid out of our Boston, MA office and will report to the Email Marketing Manager.

What You’Ll Do:

  • Own the development and execution of lifecycle marketing strategies across email, SMS, and direct mail to drive engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Design and optimize customer journeys and triggered campaigns using behavioral and lifecycle data.
  • Partner with the Integrated Marketing, Creative, and Product teams to translate campaign objectives into thoughtful cross-channel briefs and programs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations and CRM systems teams to build, QA, and launch campaigns with precision.
  • Monitor and analyze CRM performance metrics (open/click rates, conversions, churn impact, etc.) to make recommendations and optimize strategy.
  • Support CRM roadmap planning with input on segmentation, channel mix, automation opportunities, and testing.
  • Champion CRM tool adoption and continuously improve internal documentation, processes, and best practices for customer data platforms (e.g., Pardot, Braze, Klaviyo, Iterable, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Maintain a testing roadmap across channels to improve engagement, timing, creative, and copy performance.
  • Stay current on trends in CRM, deliverability, personalization, and retention marketing—and proactively bring forward ideas to evolve our program.
  • Create and maintain reporting dashboards and cross-functional updates to marketing and business stakeholders.

What You’Ll Bring:

  • 3-5 years of CRM, lifecycle, or email marketing experience, preferably in DTC, SaaS, subscription, or regulated industries (energy, fintech, healthcare).
  • Strong working knowledge of ESP platforms (e.g., Braze, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, Pardot, or similar).
  • Experience with segmentation, A/B testing, and lifecycle strategy (welcome/onboarding, post-purchase, reactivation, etc.).
  • Comfort with data and reporting tools; ability to turn insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with loyalty programs or referral marketing is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience in B2C and B2B lifecycle journeys are a plus, but not required.
  • Experience using Litmus, Dreamweaver, Tableau, or other testing and analytics tools are a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with HTML and dynamic email content.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality.
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
  • Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.

If you don’t meet 100% of the above qualifications, but see yourself contributing, please apply.
