We are looking for an Energy Solutions Sales Consultant to join Thermatic Homes.
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Energy Sales Consultant to join our renewable energy team. This role focuses on promoting and selling a range of renewable technologies – including solar PV, energy-efficient heating systems, insulation, and building fabric improvements. The successful candidate will be responsible for both generating their own sales opportunities and managing provided leads across domestic and commercial markets.
This is a client-facing position requiring strong technical understanding, persuasive communication, and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers and industry partners.

Hours & Location Of Work:
- Location: Remote/ Hybrid – 1 day at head office, 4 days visiting potential clients/ on the road.
- Travel: Frequent UK-wide travel and regular overnight stays.
Responsibilities Include:
- Proactively self-generate new business leads through networking, referrals, and targeted prospecting.
- Manage and convert company-provided leads across domestic households, SMEs, and larger commercial clients.
- Conduct on-site and virtual consultations to assess energy needs, provide tailored renewable solutions, and present quotations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business and referrals.
- Provide informed advice on renewable energy solutions, including solar PV, efficient heating systems, insulation measures, and building fabric improvements.
- Translate technical features into clear customer benefits and financial returns (e.g., energy savings, carbon reduction, ROI).
- Collaborate with surveyors, installers, and engineers to ensure feasibility and accurate proposals.
- Represent the company at sales conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, and local networking events.
- Stay updated on renewable technology trends, government incentives, and industry regulations to remain credible with clients.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets across domestic and commercial segments.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, appointments, and sales pipeline.
- Report on market intelligence, competitor activity, and customer feedback to management.

- Volume and conversion rate of self-generated and company-provided leads.
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Growth of personal and company presence in local networking and industry events.
- Customer satisfaction scores and repeat/ referral business levels.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales – ideally within renewables, construction, or energy-related industries.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, heating systems, insulation, and building fabric performance.
- Confident in presenting technical information clearly to both domestic homeowners and commercial decision-makers.
- Self-starter with the ability to generate leads and build networks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Comfortable attending events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and basic MS Office tools.
- Passionate about sustainability and renewable energy.
- Target-driven, ambitious, and commercially astute.
