HGV Class 1 Driver Monday to Friday Nights/Afters

Established in 1965, the Lockwood Group is a family run business and currently has over 370 employees spanning 6 UK sites. The group’s activities include UK haulage and storage, frozen food production and co-packing solutions.

S&R Smith and Son, West Thurrock (part of the Lockwood Group of Companies) specialise in general haulage & distribution in and around the South East of England.

Due to business growth, we are looking for drivers to be based at RM20 4EL working the following shift pattern:-

• Nights/Afters - Monday - Friday shift.

Shifts and start times can be negotiable upon interview.

Rate of pay is £16.00 per hour with 50 hours guaranteed minimum weekly pay.

Ideally the candidates would meet the following requirements:

• At least 2 years HGV driving experience prefered
• Must hold a DCPC Card
• Good communication skills in the English language as required to converse with customers and depot staff.
