Job Description
Under the general guidance of the Director of Sales, you will be supporting the Sales team in administrative duties and assist with the co-ordination of their activities. This role will also be key to assist in all areas of direct sales efforts to increase hotel market share, maintain a high level of customer service while bringing an unparalleled approach to converting group and leisure business. In this role you will:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Commercial team, including generating reports, preparing proposals/contracts, creating presentations, booking travel, managing enquiries, and assisting with promotions, events and printed materials.
- Manage and maintain sales systems such as ANAIS, Cvent, and Delphi; distribute sales leads based on business needs, and conduct cold calls for market comparisons and lead generation.
- Coordinate post-contract group requests, ensuring seamless handover to relevant departments (Groups Reservations/Catering & Events Manager) and support sales trip/trade show preparation.
- Lead and participate in special projects, attend commercial meetings for minute taking, support client site visits and assist in onboarding new team members.
- Foster strong internal and external relationships, delivering high standards of professional communication and customer service, while ensuring smooth daily operations.
