Ocado Solutions is responsible for our corporate international partnerships, offering the proprietary Ocado Smart Platform (OSP) software & robotics as a service to grocery retailers around the world. OSP comprises access to Ocado’s physical automation, allowing highly efficient preparation of orders, together with the full end-to-end software applications required to operate a world class online grocery business, bringing the best possible operational economics, consumer experience and service to our partners. Since 2017 we have signed agreements to provide our unique e-commerce solution to a number of the world’s largest grocers, including Groupe Casino (France), Sobeys (Canada), ICA (Sweden), Kroger (USA), Coles (Australia), AEON (Japan), Alcampo (Spain), Lotte (South Korea) joining our UK partner Morrisons and the Ocado/M&S joint venture.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B Marketing Manager to join the Ocado Solutions’ Marketing team, where you’ll apply your skills and experience to educate and inspire prospective customers about solutions at the cutting edge of technology.

You will own and deliver our new business marketing plan to drive commercial growth, working hand in hand with our New Business teams.

You will also collaborate with the Central Communication team to leverage new and existing channels to raise awareness of OSP and nurture prospects in key markets.

You will own, manage and evolve a library of assets and proof points, including case studies and testimonials.

You Will (Accountabilities)

  • Support the development of the marketing strategy and execute the new business marketing plan: building integrated campaigns that meet overall business objectives and ensure that they meet specific requirements of international target markets.  
  • Identify and leverage new and existing go-to-market and comms channels to engage with prospects at different points of the sales cycle, from awareness and education through to qualification and assessment of needs. 
  • Own and manage prospect nurture campaigns and workflows via Hubspot, working closely with the New Business to team to segment target audiences, and track and measure engagement and campaign performance.
  • Own and manage the Ocado Solutions web content, working closely with Corporate Comms and Product Marketing colleagues to ensure Ocado’s solutions are well represented through strong copy and visual storytelling.
  • Lead, drive and support partner reference programmes, building case studies and proof points that validate our credibility in online grocery, ensuring they reflect our market positioning and resonate with target audiences.
  • Cross-functional working: Develop strong relationships and collaborate closely with stakeholders, both internally and externally, ensuring regular communication across the business. Be the key liaison between Marketing and New Business, prioritising projects and ensuring that all campaigns and deliverables drive tangible value and wider business goals.

About you (experience we seek)

  • At least 3 years of experience of delivering B2B marketing campaigns in a tech company, targeting senior and C level audiences
  • Experience of delivering and measuring the ROI from campaigns via CRM tools (ideally Hubspot)
  • A talented storyteller with the ability to distill complex products and concepts and create clear, simple, and impactful messages for a wide range of stakeholders; excellent writing and more than a slight obsession with language is key
  • A strong understanding of how to leverage both digital and offline marketing channels (including events, webinars, LinkedIn, website) to deliver integrated messaging and campaigns that resonate strongly with distinct audiences
  • Driven self-starter with a laser focus on results
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-moving, dynamic and rapidly changing environments
  • Confident, self-motivated individual with demonstrable bias for action
  • A strong sense of urgency and ownership
  • Strong team player with a passion for knowledge sharing 
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management across different parts and levels of the organisation.
