Our Customer Onboarding team is responsible for understanding the relationships and desired outcomes started during the sales process, building a launch plan for success, and helping customers get the most out of 1Password.
As a Project Coordinator, you'll help customers maximize the potential of 1Password by assisting with the successful, timely delivery of the technical implementation and onboarding for new clients. You’ll support or coordinate small projects, and assist with gathering requirements, defining scope, working with teams to develop effective client solutions. You'll also act as a secondary client contact, maintaining basic project documentation, scheduling and supporting status meetings, helping resolve issues, keeping tasks stay on track, and aiding the smooth transition to post-launch support.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What We'Re Looking For:
- 0-1 years of experience in a Project Management, Implementation, or other B2B SaaS function (or a related field)
- Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with both internal teams and clients
- Solid organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Foundational understanding of Project Management methodologies and/or Implementation frameworks, with a willingness to learn and apply best practices in a project environment
What You Can Expect:
- Assist with the successful delivery of the technical implementation and onboarding of 1Password for small projects for new and existing clients, providing support to ensure smooth execution. Coordinate a small number of projects at once, maintaining attention to detail on assigned tasks and timelines.
- Support the gathering of project requirements and assist in defining project scope, collaborating with senior team members for level of effort estimates and potential adjustments to timelines, scope, or cost.
- Develop and maintain basic project documentation, such as simple Project Plans and Task Lists, to help meet both client and project needs and deliver value-added service under the guidance of senior team members.
- Work alongside Project Managers and other internal teams (e.g., Solutions Architects/Engineers, Trainers, Customer Success Managers) to assist in the development of effective solutions to meet client requirements.
- Assist in documenting client business requirements for non-standard requests and collaborate with senior members of the team and other internal teams (e.g., Product, Customer Success, Account Management) to ensure proper coordination and escalation when necessary.
- Recommend best practices, specific features and/or tailored configurations to close gaps and secure customer buy-in for deployment or redeployment.
- Help set project expectations and timelines, coordinating with internal teams to ensure tasks stay on track and escalating concerns to senior team members when needed.
- Schedule and assist with project status meetings and contribute to providing regular status updates, including helping to maintain risk logs for ongoing mitigation.
- Act as a secondary point of contact for assigned clients, responding to project-related queries via email or project tooling under supervision.
- Coordinate with internal teams to help resolve issues during product configuration, testing, or post-launch phases. Escalate complex issues to senior team members for assistance with resolution.
- Perform basic quality assurance reviews on your assigned tasks and assist in supporting quality reviews on work done by others.
- Build a solid understanding of 1Password's suite of products and services to better support project coordination and client needs.
- Contribute to team success by providing general support to senior team members when needed.

We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged at 1Password—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
Our approach to work
We recognize the power of both in person collaboration and remote work. Some roles are designated as remote-first, with an expectation that individuals work from their homes majority of the time, while others are designated as in-office roles, with an expectation of being on-site on a regular basis. We recognize that certain roles benefit from regular, in-person connection to support collaboration, team cohesion, and customer engagement.
For all roles, occasional travel may be required. This includes things like: department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events are typically held in varying locations across Canada, USA and/or EMEA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
