MeBe’s Occupational Therapy team provides individual and group therapy sessions for children ranging in age from 6 months to 16 years on average diagnosed with

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder,

  • Developmental Delays,

  • Sensory Processing Disorder,

  • Articulation Challenges,

  • Adhd, Anxiety,

  • Cerebral Palsy,

  • Down Syndrome,

We are looking to grow our team of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and are excited to meet pediatric OT professionals who are compassionate, dedicated, and love working with children and their families.

About What You’ll Work On

  • Deliver occupation-based interventions for pediatric clients under the supervision of a licensed OT (OTR/L) and in alignment with the individualized plan of care.
  • Prepare, grade, and adapt activities to support sensory regulation, fine/gross motor skills, self-care, play, and participation goals.
  • Collect objective data (trials, accuracy, assistance levels), document session notes, and relay clinical observations to the supervising OT to inform goal updates and plan-of-care revisions.
  • Assist with set-up, administration, and scoring of standardized assessments as directed by the OT (no independent interpretation).
  • Provide caregiver training and home-program coaching in collaboration with the OT to support carryover.
  • Co-treat and/or support small groups with OTs, SLPs, and BCBAs when therapeutically appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and complete billing logs ethically and in accordance with payer, state, and company requirements.
  • Ensure a safe, organized therapy environment; clean and manage equipment and materials; contribute ideas and materials for program development.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team; communicate professionally with families and colleagues; practice culturally responsive, client-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Cpr/Bls Certification.

  • Proven reliability with time management, documentation, and follow-through; comfortable seeking supervision and exercising sound judgment within COTA scope.
  • Collaborative communicator who thrives in a team setting.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (if travel between sites/homes is required).
  • Current state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L).
  • NBCOT certification as a COTA.
  • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OTA program (Associate’s degree or equivalent).
  • Pediatric experience preferred (1–2 years ideal); strong new grads welcome.
