Team Mission

Come join our Supply Tech team as our Lead Product Designer! This role is critical to our business strategy, focusing on empowering suppliers to optimize their offerings and deliver the best customer experience for travelers. As our Lead Product Designer, you will help shape the future of our B2B platform by creating intuitive, impactful, and scalable design solutions for suppliers.

As part of the Supplier Portal team, you will plan, build, and implement high-quality product design experiences that help suppliers succeed at key stages of their journey. With a focus on helping suppliers to optimize their experiences to travelers, you will ensure suppliers can maximize their impact through understanding their reviews, optimizing their workflow, and delivering exceptional experiences to travelers.

You will work at multiple levels—from strategic to tactical—helping define the team’s vision, rapidly prototyping and testing solutions, and collaborating with engineering to refine features as they are built. You will act as a domain expert in supplier experience, advocate for user-centric design, and ensure consistency across the portal by aligning with our design system and quality principles.

Your Mission

• Leverage expertise in B2B platforms to design solutions that meet the unique needs of suppliers and drive business impact.
• Design interfaces that help users explore, interpret, and act on complex data — balancing flexibility, clarity, and performance. 
• Partner closely with multi-disciplinary team members — Product Design, Content Design, Product Management, Engineering, Research, Operations, and others — to elevate the supplier experience.
• Own significant areas of the supplier journey, such as onboarding, optimization, and impact measurement.
• Shape and execute short-term and long-term strategic visions for the Supplier Portal.
• Deeply understand users and their needs through generative user research and exploration.
• Create beautiful, intuitive designs that align with our design system and quality principles.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to craft systematic solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Mentor and influence other designers, sharing expertise and driving technical excellence.
• Act as a gatekeeper for design consistency and quality across the Supplier Portal.
• Facilitate collaborative work sessions with stakeholders at all levels of the company.
• Advocate for user-centricity and challenge the status quo to improve the supplier experience.
• Design interfaces that deliver AI-enriched data in a way that has transparency and builds trust with the user

Your Toolkit

• 7+ years of experience in cross-platform product design.
• Track record of designing and shipping B2B experiences that have scaled to thousands of users and delivered successful outcomes for global businesses.
• Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and articulate a vision.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, and drive clarity that brings the user, technology, and business together into an actionable roadmap.
• Experience connecting the dots across the organization with other related initiatives across the company while driving collaboration.
• Exceptional communication skills, in writing and verbally, whether in small group discussions, large-scale presentations, or with executives.
• Extraordinary thoughtfulness and craft in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
• Humble, collaborative approach to partnering with PMs, engineers, and business stakeholders to find the best solution together.
• Experience collaborating with machine learning and data science teams to influence design from a user-centered lens.

• An outstanding portfolio, showcasing your strengths in visual design craft, interaction design logic, and the rationale behind your design decisions.
• Effective English verbal/written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to successfully articulate design concepts to your team and senior stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking, clearly solving business problems through a customer lens.
• Strong ability to think technically and collaborate seamlessly with engineers and data scientists as it pertains to understanding the benefits, possibilities, and constraints of common coding languages and AI/machine learning platforms.
• Effective time management skills to balance project schedules with fast-paced deadlines.
• Strong conceptual thinking that balances user needs, business goals, and feasibility.
• Experience in simplifying complex systems, helping translate complexity into actionable insights.
• Ability to mentor and lead senior designers and connect the dots on cross-team strategic projects.
