Experienced Consultant

Role Overview

An Experienced Consultant at Digital Futures is responsible for leading client-facing projects in AI transformation, business analysis, product ownership, engineering, or analytics, driving impactful technology solutions and fostering organizational change.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver AI-focused transformation initiatives, combining strong technical and consulting skills to accelerate client objectives.
• Scope, design, and execute innovative solutions in one of the following areas: AI Transformation Project Lead, AI Business Analyst, AI Product Owner, AI Engineering Lead, or Data and AI Analytics Lead.
• Build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders to understand challenges, propose impactful strategies, and ensure successful implementation.
• Support pre-sales activities, including proposal development, opportunity assessment, and client presentations.
• Guide, mentor, and upskill junior consultants and Academy graduates, helping shape diverse, high-performing teams.
• Stay current with advances in AI, data, and cloud technologies, sharing insights, and driving adoption of innovative approaches.

Person Specification

• Demonstrated expertise in AI, data analytics, and/or cloud engineering with experience leading projects and small teams.
• Strategic thinker able to translate client goals into robust technical and change roadmaps.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, supporting Digital Futures’ mission to attract and develop talent from all backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable explaining complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and outcomes-focused with a passion for learning, mentoring, and industry innovation.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in computing, engineering, mathematics, economics, or a related field; advanced qualifications preferred.

Five Job Buckets

An Experienced Consultant applicant is assessed for one of the following pathways depending on skills and experience:

• AI Transformation Project Lead: Own project delivery and change management for enterprise AI initiatives.
• AI Business Analyst: Analyse business needs, transform requirements into AI solutions, support business transformation.
• AI Product Owner: Define AI product strategy, lead cross-functional teams, oversee agile delivery.
• AI Engineering Lead: Architect and implement cutting-edge AI and data platforms, mentor engineering teams.
• Data and AI Analytics Lead: Drive organizational data strategy, advanced analytics adoption, and actionable insights.

All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and will be expected to work from the Digital Futures office in London for 4-days a week.
