The Role
The successful candidate is an experienced Software Developer who will join our Data & AI segment based in Canberra, ACT. This role will be focused on working with an ongoing client to continue to develop and maintain business platforms across the business. You will be responsible for managing a small team and have a deep technical understanding in *nix environments, low-level systems and modern application development. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on development ensuring compliance with industry standards, coding best practices and maintaining high architectural integrity.

Our Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this position, you will have a demonstrated proficiency in Go and .NET with the ability to manage a team with individual skill sets in .NET back end, React front end, DevOps engineering and QA engineering.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5-10 year’s experience in software development
• In depth understanding of *nix environments and OS-level commands
• High level proficiency in Go and .NET
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with the clients
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
• High attention to detail, with strong planning and problem-solving capabilities
• Resilient, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset

Highly Regarded (Ideal) Skills & Experience

• Background in cybersecurity
• Familiarity with finding frameworks
• Experience with Azure DevOps
