HOURGLASS COSMETICS – AREA MANAGER - FRANCE (6 Month fixed term contract)

What You Do

  • Drive retail performance and exceeds goals at all points of sale within country
  • In-store sales support and education/coaching that makes a meaningful, lasting impact on store brand awareness and productivity
  • Engage retailer store staff with ongoing brand training sessions
  • Work with Regional Education team to deliver brand and service trainings for the frontline team
  • Establish strong relationships and communicate regularly with retail partner store team to discuss brand performance and initiatives to surpass sales objectives at each point of sale
  • Drive high standard Customer Service and maintain the Hourglass service ritual
  • Analysis of sales by door and implementation of appropriate strategies to drive sales/ranking in each account
  • Continuous recruitment of vacancies to agreed manning level budget
  • Development of new starters to have a full Welcome to Hourglass induction in line with Regional and Global Guidelines
  • Engagement and development of frontline team. Provide regular support, review performance against targets and conduct Annual Appraisals in line with ongoing feedback
  • Manages the team’s rotas and holiday tracker to ensure maximum coverage
  • Maintain merchandising as per guidelines to ensure brand is represented at the highest levels
  • Review stock holding levels consistently and work with EU Operations Manager to resolve any issues
  • Execute impactful store events that meet brand standards
  • Follow company budget parameters and careful use of company resources to achieve end goals
  • Timely return of all phone calls, e-mails and communication from both retail partners and the corporate offices
  • Support in building brand awareness through local influencer relationships
  • Supports in execution of local brand PR & Marketing events, including leveraging MUA skills when required 
  • Regular travelling is required

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience within the luxury beauty industry
  • Make-up Artistry Skills to support events and trainings when required
  • Strong command of oral and written communication skills in English and French
  • Must be self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • An excellent communicator working with a multitude of retailers and different teams within the organization
  • Strong negotiator & look for a win-win opportunities with our retail partners
  • Highly numerate – strong analytically
  • Highly organized with prioritization skills.
