As a Analyst Programmer (Integration), you will be working within an existing team of engineers in our Digital and Data Team in Auckland. This is a full-time, permanent position (Monday - Friday, minimum hours: 37.5 per week). Projects will range from small, distinct pieces of work to large scale, longer-term client engagements.
You will support the lead engineer to break down complex problems, identify simple solutions and work with the team to develop and implement data and integration solutions using Microsoft Azure, Mulesoft or SAP Integration Suite services.
In addition to the integration development work, you will help gather/refine integration requirements and support with data standardisation, analytics and reporting activities.
Given our diverse client portfolio, your strengths in data and integration (e.g., Mulesoft, SAP Integration Suite) will be used outside coding - requirements gathering, integration design, data standardisation, analytics and reporting. We are looking for people who are excited by data integrations, passionate about learning new technologies and adept at leveraging GenAI in the software engineering process. This role will also require you to:
- Collaborate with our wider team to implement solutions using Microsoft Azure Data Integration Services, Mulesoft or SAP Integration Suite.
- understand integration solution design and develop applications that follows the design.
- make modifications and enhancements to existing integration applications for clients.
- have active participation in scoping, design, and estimation exercises as part of the development team.
- test applications to ensure that completed work correctly meets requirements and is aligned with the agreed designs.
- diagnose and repair software defects; assist clients with technical problems and help to resolve any problems
Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience
To be successful in this role and achieve all of the above you will need to demonstrate:
- strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- experience with innovating and developing integration applications using enterprise integration platform such as MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite, or experience with developing APIs.
- proficiency in using data and integration technologies including certifications (Mulesoft Certified Developer, Azure Data Engineering, Azure AI)
- have significant experience contributing to the design of integration solutions for clients.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, e.g., Azure and AWS, and CI/CD
- a desire to learn and progress within our firm.
Agile/Scrum Experience
- your ability and willingness to learn new technologies
- At least 2 years of experience consulting with clients, within a professional services setting.
- excellent time management, ability to meet tight deadlines and ability to prioritise when faced with conflicting tasks.
- experience coaching junior analysts in a team.
- excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate with fellow team members and talk to clients, confidently, sometimes with limited preparation.
