The Team:
As part of the Marketing Department, the Demand Generation team develops, manages, and optimizes integrated campaigns that fuel both our self-serve and sales-assisted funnels. Working cross-functionally, we focus on increasing Jobber’s visibility among home service businesses, generating awareness, and unlocking new areas of demand. By converting and monetizing existing interest while keeping Jobber top-of-mind, we help the business adapt to the evolving ways people search for and choose solutions online.
The Role:
This new role is critical to the ongoing success of the Demand Generation team and Jobber's continued growth, and it will report to the Senior Director, Demand Generation.
As AI changes how buyers discover, evaluate, and choose software, Jobber is investing in building a next-generation demand generation practice (we want to lead, not react). We're looking for a strategic operator and connector to sit at the intersection of marketing, product, data, and brand to guide and enable our Demand Generation team. This isn't a channel-specific role—it's about guiding the entire Demand Gen organization to lead in AI-literacy and operational excellence. This role will future-proof Jobber’s demand generation by embedding AI-driven strategy, discovery, and personalization into every growth initiative. It connects marketing, product, and data teams to ensure we stay ahead of shifting buyer behaviour and maximize growth efficiency
You'll bring a systems-level view to how demand generation initiatives are conceived, measured, and optimized, and ensure every dollar we spend on demand generation is amplified by AI discoverability, personalization, and relevance. This isn't an AI-era version of SEO—it's about shaping how Jobber shows up across emerging AI-driven channels, maximizes the best of cutting-edge AI advertising products and tools, and supports the Product organization’s PLG (product led growth) motions with an understanding of AI-discoverability and shifting consumer behaviour.
The Senior Demand Generation Manager, AI Growth Strategy will:
- Be the AI intelligence hub for demand gen: Track shifts in AI platforms, LLM behaviour, recommendation algorithms, and buyer journeys. Translate changes into actionable opportunities for campaigns, content, optimization, and go-to-market strategy.
- Elevate team workflows and decision-making: Collaborate with campaign managers, channel leads, and RevOps partners to embed AI tools, processes, predictive analytics, and automation that streamline planning and execution.
- Drive cross-functional AI enablement for demand gen: Collaborate with Product, RevOps, and Customer Analytics teams to surface first-party insights and ensure our assets are structured for AI-driven discovery.
- Align the demand gen and product teams with consumer demand insights: Partner closely with Product to research AI-first discovery behaviours, helping new products and features become easily and organically discoverable.
- Optimize personalization at scale: Identify opportunities to deliver highly personalized journeys without adding unnecessary operational complexity. Partner with Revenue Operations, Lifecycle Marketing, and other teams to prioritize and resource only the most impactful personalization initiatives.
- Leverage AI to drive marketing efficiency: Use AI insights and automation to improve channel performance, customer lifetime value, and fully loaded CAC, ensuring investments are tied to growth efficiency.
- Redefine attribution and measurement: Build frameworks for understanding influence and ROI in an AI-first landscape, moving beyond last-touch models.
- Elevate team capabilities: Build a strategic roadmap to embed AI-driven experimentation and performance optimization across channels, while partnering with channel managers to implement MCP solutions that streamline workflows and empower smarter execution.
- Shape the future roadmap for demand gen: Partner with leadership to prioritize initiatives that scale visibility, authority, and growth in the new discovery ecosystem.
- Bridge marketing strategy with technical execution: Apply familiarity with Javascript and Python, plus knowledge of MCP servers. These skills empower you to test, automate, and optimize AI-driven initiatives.
- Influence and build consensus with strong communication skills: confidently present insights, influence prioritization, and align senior leaders around strategic initiatives, while navigating organizational dynamics to build consensus and drive action across teams.
To be successful, you should have:
- Demonstrated years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or marketing strategy with exposure to multi-channel B2B SaaS.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that integrate marketing, product, and data teams.
- Experience applying AI tools and analytics to drive marketing effectiveness; understanding of emerging discovery platforms (LLMs, recommendation engines, vertical AI tools).
- Strong technical skills: hands-on experience with Javascript, Python, APIs, Zapier/n8n/Make, and MCP servers.
- Demonstrated operational skills: process design, enablement, experimentation frameworks, and change management.
- Data-driven mindset: expertise using analytics, attribution, and performance data to guide decisions and refine strategies.
- Strategic communicator; able to influence senior stakeholders and coach teams.
- Curiosity and a bias for innovation: thrives on anticipating what’s next and making it actionable.
It would be really great (but not a deal-breaker) if you had:
- Experience with AI-driven SEO, generative engine optimization (GEO), and AI optimization (AIO) strategies.
- BA in Business or Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Compensation:
At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $121,000, a midpoint of $142,200, and a maximum salary of $163,600, designed to show the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling.
We design our compensation to reflect each new hire’s skills, experience against the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual’s current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth.
