Who We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a Brand Director for North America Jordan Streetwear to join our Beaverton-based team. You’ll help create the future of Jordan streetwear, serving consumers across the US, with a focus on NY, LA and CHI. The candidate should have a nuanced expertise of sneaker culture, streetwear and intersections with sport culture and fashion.

As part of our NA Streetwear Brand team, the Streetwear Brand Director will be responsible for driving the strategic direction for our Seasonal (Holiday/Summer) Streetwear offense. This role is a steward for the consumer across the brand, helping illustrate the vision of how we can better serve consumers and delivering brand strategies that grow the business while creating deeper, lasting relationships with our consumer.

The candidate should have comprehensive grasp of the streetwear landscape along with the ability to lead multiple projects through a team and build strong working relationships across a matrixed organization.

They should bring a deep understanding of the streetwear retail landscape and a strong digital skillset along with an understanding of all functions of marketing.

They should be comfortable with ambiguity and be ready to dig in, work collaboratively and bring a positive attitude always. They should be solution oriented, a team first collaborator, energy giver, strategic vision, empathetic and curious to learn. A candidate who embraces disruption, innovation, creativity, a bit of defiance and a respect for the greatness of the brand will help a candidate co-create success across the integrated team. 

What You Will Work On

You will partner with our NA Streetwear Senior Brand Director and marketing leaders across marketing functions in the geography and our global organizations to lead creation of brand plans and key consumer concepts including authoring marketing briefs, strategic tools and marketing initiatives that fuel our seasonal initiatives and long-term concepts. You will drive a robust concept map and end-in-mind execution, continually building new consumer experiences that accelerate brand and business growth opportunities internally and externally. 

Establish and drive a culture of mentorship across the extended team.

Lead the development of an annual Streetwear brand plan.

Partner with the Sr. Director of Streetwear to define the holistic 3-5 year strategy and create

key consumer journeys/stories across different consumer cohorts.

Partner with Product and Merchandising to ensure alignment of marketing objectives with business priorities.

Serve as a specialist within the Streetwear team on the consumer and partner

closely with the consumer insight and city teams to identify insights to action on.

Create and lead seasonal marketing briefs for key seasonal stories, shepherding the

creative process global handoff to execution and through post-execution learning process.

Who You Will Work With

As the NC Streetwear Brand Director, you will report directly into the NA Brand Sr. Director of

Streetwear.

You will work within a team of Brand Management Directors, Managers and Specialists to build and

plan marketing programs that drive brand strength, fuel consumer demand and build our connection with

Consumers.

You will collaborate with teammates across Jordan Brand to build more effective and efficient ways to serve the consumer, our brand and our business. 

You will also collaborate and partner with key internal and external partners.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in brand management and marketing and a deep understanding of the digital and retail landscape.
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • A passion for Jordan Brand and its role in global culture.
  • Demonstrated genuine passion and deep understanding of Streetwear, Basketball culture and fashion.
  • Dedication to respect, inclusivity, and valuing different perspectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience leading and coaching teams and a people-first mentality.
  • Ability to create an integrated brand marketing plan, while leading initiatives and project teams.
  • Ability to balance creativity with organization and discipline in fast moving, ambiguous environment.
  • An upbeat, positive, and collaborative working style
  • Strong attention to detail.
