We are seeking a results-driven leader to manage the execution of key Quality Engineering objectives. In this role, you will guide and inspire a team of quality engineering professionals—ranging from early-career talent to experienced supervisors—while driving excellence across technical and business support functions. You will set and oversee daily objectives focused on the development, enhancement, and application of quality evaluation processes, control systems, and protocols, ensuring the highest standards of performance and compliance.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and supervise Quality Engineers for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and Technical Planning (TP-Configuration management/ Operations Instructions).
  • Coach and develop Quality Engineering’ skills, establish job expectations and manage work performance.
  • Able to plan, perform and support Operations and Proactive Quality processes addressing the risks and opportunities.
  • Lead, support, and plan priorities for Quote labor efforts for NPI programs, MPR reviews/monitoring, New transitions, TP quality reviews, Material Master Set up (SME Quality Inputs, QIR-Quality Info records), MPN setup (Supplier Quality Approval vendor validations), FAI (First Article Inspection) and PPAP processes.
  • Perform Relentless Root Cause Analysis (RRCA) and develop proposals for corrective action for design/supplier/process problems on product and process non-conformance for NPI programs and TP process.
  • Maintain, implement and improve quality control procedures and inspection processes/plan.
  • Participate in performance improvement processes through CORE. To drive existing and future improvement projects.
  • Lead, educate and instruct on Quality procedures and Standards compliance.
  • Support internal and external customer meetings, manage resource allocation at PRO, perform Quality Analysis/Reports/Presentations by Programs/Product.
  • Supervises and monitors NPI programs quality performance and health at internal data performance, SRR (Scrap, rework, Repair) and Escape management.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Has good working knowledge on Quality Management System meeting AS9100 requirements.
  • Knowledge in Drawing interpretation, Configuration Management process, Manufacturing Process Review (MPR) activities, Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and First Article inspection (FAI) processes.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fully bilingual.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing techniques and quality process controls.
  • SAP / Advance Excel knowledge is advantageous.
  • Excellent coaching skills, inspire by example
  • Strong decision-making skills and consensus building ability.
  • Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Good team player, positive attitude and accept challenges.
