Position Summary
Lead the strategic direction, portfolio management, and market execution for all Consumer Electronics (CE) products in Myanmar. This role serves as the key link between the Myanmar branch, regional operations, headquarters, factory and the Thailand Subsidiary, ensuring alignment in strategy, execution, and performance. The position requires strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to effectively connect HQ strategy with local market execution.Role And Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Portfolio Management Strategic Planning & Portfolio Management
- Develop and manage the CE product line portfolio, ensuring market relevance, operational efficiency, and rapid response to local market dynamics.
- Collaborate with the Branch President and executives to set the annual strategic direction.
- Review pricing structures and partner margins to maintain competitiveness.
Marketing & Promotion
- Plan and execute marketing programs, product launches, and promotional activities to drive CE product performance.
- Manage the marketing budget, track ROI, and ensure cost-effective spending.
- Identify and seize channel marketing opportunities across retail and distribution.
Sales Enablement & Channel Management
- Guide sales and operation teams to achieve monthly and quarterly sales objectives.
- Analyze retail and distribution channel performance, implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain close relationships with internal teams (operations, logistics, supply chain) and external partners (customers, agencies, trainers).
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a key liaison between Myanmar operations, HQ, RHQ, factory and the Thailand Subsidiary.
- Prepare and deliver presentations for major partners and internal stakeholders.
- Schedule and lead customer training meetings to strengthen partner capabilities.
Performance Reporting
- Generate and present sales and marketing performance reports to top management.
- Provide immediate updates on market results, competitor actions, and execution progress.
Skills And Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, General Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in Consumer Electronics, TV, or Home Appliances, covering both product management and sales execution.
- Demonstrated success in partnering directly with senior leadership to define and deliver business strategy.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage end-to-end business operations in a competitive market environment.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of turning market challenges into growth opportunities.
- Experience collaborating with multinational headquarters, regional offices, and manufacturing facilities to align strategy and execution.
- Fluency in Korean and English, with excellent cross-cultural communication skills to bridge HQ directives and local market needs.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and resilient under pressure, with the agility to adapt to market shifts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Willingness to travel domestically and regionally as required.
