About The Role

For Gap Brand (or designated brand), the Senior Account Manager will own daily operations of on-figure product photography and video produced at Gap Inc.’s in-house Photo Studio, including critical Gap Brand collaborations. In this role, the Sr. Account Manager will oversee the workflow (from pre-production through post-production) generating online product assets that meet both the creative and financial objectives of the brand. With a deep understanding of the photo production pipeline and a proven ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional business partners at all levels, the Sr. Account Manager will lead the Photo Studio Production team in asset creation, management and on-time delivery. This role owns critical Gap Brand collaborations from pre-production, on set and through hand-off. This individual must be solution and action oriented, a nuanced and skilled communicator and negotiator, flexible in a constantly changing retail environment, strategic (able to assess business needs and plan how to successfully support them), organized (prioritize and execute multiple aspects of the production process simultaneously) and consistently deliver against tight deadlines.

What You'Ll Do

  • Manage the production of all on figure product photography shoots for Gap Inc’s in-house Photo Studio
  • Own the communication and asset production pipeline for highly visible Gap brand collaborations including preproduction, on-set management through final asset delivery to multiple stakeholders.
  • On set production coordination for all minor (age 0 – 17 years) talent sets
  • Manage creative testing and transformations from ideation to execution at scale
  • Manage On Figure castings and present talent recommendation that align with brand and creative direction.
  • Source new talent seasonally and as needed; negotiate fees and usage agreements- keeping to specific budgets and adhering to legal provisions.
  • Keep pulse on changing legislation that affects model usage and understand how to apply it to model bookings
  • Initiate and drive efficiencies in the production workflow through solution-oriented thinking; act quickly, independently and efficiently manage time to achieve results across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Track all photography metrics (production through post) and analyze data to draw conclusions. Be accountable for tracking and socializing the financial health of the business by constant monitoring of this data.
  • Set clear objectives, standards and measurements for onset team. Provide actionable feedback targeted to the specific creative audience and function.
  • Accept, initiate and drive change; create an environment where team members continually challenge the status quo and evolve their function
  • Accurately forecast and track all production costs; reconcile monthly and oversee all third-party invoices.

Who You Are

  • 8 + years photography photo production experience – stills and video.  Bonus points for experience with kids.
  • Skilled communicator with ability to build trust and consensus with different audiences/ cohorts at all levels and functions.
  • Proven experience with talent and usage negotiation
  • Conversant with existing California Labor law and requirements for talent booking- adult and kids
  • Strong organizational skills and unwavering attention to detail; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-pace, deadline driven environment
  • High level of financial acumen and accountability
  • Familiarity with Excel pivot tables and spreadsheets
  • Proficient in PC and Mac platforms, MS Suite, Airtable, Presentation software
  • Ba/Bs Degree.
