Job Description:

The area portfolio leader for Asia ISD Packaging will be responsible for driving growth and profitability of the packaging tapes business in Asia through area product marketing leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership and background in business development, market analysis, customer first mind-set, growth-mind and deep interest in the packaging industry, as well as marketing related SAP operational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Growth:

• Execute sales growth in Asia with leading team through commercial excellence.
• Develop and execute marketing promotion as well as digital assets for growth.
• Identify market opportunities and trends to drive growth and competitive advantage.
• Aligning regional strategies with global business objectives.

• Market Analysis:

• Understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
• Utilize data and insights to inform business decisions and strategy.
• Monitor and report on market conditions and business performance.

• Product Management:

• Oversee the product lifecycle, from development to launch and beyond.
• Collaborate with global MKTG, R&D, local R&D/MKTG as well as SC/plant/sourcing to ensure successful product launch and growth.
• Manage pricing and marketing budget effectively.

• Business Development:

• Lead efforts to expand market share and increase topline & gross margin.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities including NPIs, and partnerships with local sales team.

Qualifications:

• Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.

• Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
• Proven track record of leading and growing a business segment.
• Experience working in the packaging / industrial / safety market is highly desirable.

• Skills:

• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent customer-first mindset with agile thinking.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding for marketing related SAP process and operation.

• Language:

• Proficiency in English is desirable.
