Logistics Operations Systems Manager (m/f/x)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Logistics Operations Systems Manager for the EMEA Logistics Operation, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Oversee HUB operations within the European HUB network.
• Optimize M3 (3M's bespoke logistics software) system settings to improve consignments and reduce freight costs.
• Deploy and implement new M3 HUBs across EMEA.
• Train 3PLs and reship HUBs in EMEA on M3 operations and technical specifications.
• Establish EDI connections with 3PL systems for seamless data exchange.
• Conduct HUB audits and promote best practice sharing for continuous improvement.
• Analyze and address M3 enhancement requests from 3PLs and reship HUBs, implementing changes with MixMove.
• Collaborate with the regional transportation team to enhance the distribution network.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and translating customer requirements into logistical strategies.
• Proficient with M3 and/or other TMS systems.
• Effective collaboration within a virtual international team across multiple countries and regions.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in logistics operations, processes, and systems, including M3 and SAP TMS.

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Lead implementation and management of transportation systems like M3 and SAP TMS.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Operations and Business teams on regional service improvement projects.
• Enhance transport processes, including line haul, parcel, HUB operations, last mile delivery, and consolidation.
• Streamline processes and system landscapes with HUB operations, transportation, and IT teams.

Job Specifics:

• Work location: This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days a week at a 3M office in either:
• Lisbon - Portugal
• Rugby or Bracknell - UK
• Rivas - Spain
• Brussels - Belgium
• Wroclaw - Poland
• Travel expectations - Includes up to 20% domestic/international travel
• Working pattern - Full time
