Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Data engineers are responsible for building data products. They extract data from multiple systems, build reliable data pipelines and transform data so that it can easily be analyzed or consumed by downstream consumers and systems. Data Engineers work accross data sources and sometimes business domains to explore and integrate data to develop new data prodcuts. Data Engineers also have the ability to visualize and analyze data in dashboards or build custom data applications.
Have a deep understanding about data storage and compute and are able to use this knowledge to deliver complex data solutions. Have in depth knowledge about more than one technology and are able to code in multiple languages. Mentors more junior team members and takes large responsbility in the team deliverables.

For Infrastructure Engineer

• Infrastructure Automation: Design and maintain highly automated Kubernetes-based infrastructure, Azure
• Orchestrate CI/CD Pipelines: Create and optimize continuous integration/delivery pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.
• Monitor and Improve Infrastructure: Utilize Grafana and other observability tools to monitor system performance and enhance platform reliability.
• Build Cloud-Native Solutions: Architect cloud-native solutions to support MDP’s mission of streamlining developer workflows.
• Collaborate on Platform Development: Partner with backend engineers to integrate infrastructure seamlessly with microservices.
• Enhance Security and Resilience: Implement best practices for securing Kubernetes clusters and ensuring infrastructure resilience.
• Developer Productivity: Build tools and templates to enhance developer productivity and accelerate delivery cycles.
• Core Skills: Kubernetes (K8s), Terraform, Helm, Flux
• Coding Skills: Java and experience in Grafana
• Bonus: Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and Java/Spring knowledge, go
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
