We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee to join our Competition Law team in Brussels. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic international legal environment. The position is offered a full-time basis for a duration of 6 to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Support partners and associates on a wide range of EU and national competition law matters.
• Conduct legal and market research, and assist in preparing legal analyses and client briefings.
• Draft legal documents and contribute to internal and external publications.
• Attend client meetings and assist in preparing presentations and webinars.
• Stay up to date with developments in competition law and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Profile

• At least 6 months of relevant experience in competition law, gained at a law firm, as a Blue Book trainee, or within an in-house legal team.
• Master’s degree in Law, ideally with a specialization or coursework in competition law.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluent in English; native-level Dutch proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
